Overview

Nag Tibba also known as Serpent’s peak is the highest peak of lesser Himalayas with a height of 9915 ft. Its good to start your Himalayan journey with this trek as it is not very difficult and not a multiday trek. It starts from Pantwari village and ends in Aunter to the other side of the valley. In between you have Goat Village, the last permanent settlement then beautiful Kathiyani campsite then the so called base of Nag Tibba i.e. Nag Mandir then after the summit the trail goes to the other side of valley. It has small meadows, jungle, old temple (Nag Mandir), good amount of snow (if you come in winters) and also a beautiful summit from where you can have a panoramic view of famous mountains like Swargarohini, Neelkanth, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Srikanth and many more. The sunset of Nag Tibba is very famous and the best part is, you can see it from your campsite only. The total distance of the trek is around 20 km.
