Overview

Pangarchulla Peak Trek is a challenging trek, this can be a good option for those who wants something challenging and wants to push his limits. The journey starts from the capital city Dehradun, passing through the yoga capital Rishikesh and covering 4 out of 5 prayags of Uttarakhand (Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Nandprayag). On the trek you’ll pass through some villages, dense forest of rhododendron, oak, pine, and deodar, a wide-open meadow with a 180-degree view of most of the spectacular mountains like Kamet, Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Neelkanth, Chaukhamba, Hathi, Ghoda, Bhartoli, and many other. The summit day is very challenging as you have to walk for about 12-16 hours on snow, unstable boulders, ridge walk. This trek is a mixture if beauty and challenge. The best time to attempt is pre monsoon as there will be deposition of snow on the boulders ehich makes it relatively easy on the summit day.
