The best time for the Pangarchulla Trek is during March to May (spring and early summer) for clear skies and pleasant weather or September to December(autumn) for stunning views of snow-clad peaks.
The trek is considered moderate to difficult, requiring good fitness levels. It involves steep ascents, ridge walking, and some technical sections, especially near the summit.
Essential gear includes sturdy trekking shoes, warm clothing, waterproof gear, trekking poles, a backpack, a sleeping bag, water bottles, and a personal first aid kit.
The Pangarchulla Trek typically takes 5-6 days, covering approximately 30-40 km, depending on the itinerary and starting point.
Meals are generally provided by trekking operators, and accommodations include campsites or basic lodges. Carry lightweight snacks like energy bars, nuts, and chocolates for added energy during the trek.
I did Sandhakphu Phalut Trek with Rohit,
Had a wonderful experience with him.
He takes care of all the aspects and had every emergency item carried in his bag pack for all of us (group of 8) including candies too. We heard some of his adventurous stories about his previous treks which made us wanna trek again. Very rarely do we come across youngsters with utmost maturity, principles intact and true to their job. Rohit was all of that. If we do travel soon again, we would definitely contact him to be our leader again.
Thank u Rohit for your perfect leadership and guidance
